Entebbe Municipality officially ushered in a new chapter of leadership with the swearing-in of its elected political leaders for the 2026–2031 term during a colorful ceremony held in Entebbe. The ceremony was presided over by Her Worship Stellah Maris Amabilis, Chief Magistrate of Entebbe Chief Magistrate’s Court, who administered the oath of office to the newly elected leaders. His Worship Fabrice Brad Rulinda was formally sworn in as the Mayor of Entebbe Municipality, marking the beginning of his new term at the helm of the municipality. He was followed by the swearing-in of the Councilors who will serve alongside him in guiding the municipality’s development agenda over the next five years. In his inaugural address, Mayor Rulinda emphasized the importance of teamwork, unity, and accountable leadership as key pillars for the municipality’s progress. He pledged to work closely with all stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely service delivery, improve the welfare of residents, and accelerate development across Entebbe. The Mayor called upon councilors, technical staff, and the community to embrace a spirit of cooperation and collective responsibility in addressing the challenges facing the municipality. The swearing-in ceremony marks the official commencement of the new administration, with residents expressing optimism that the incoming leadership will deliver on its promises and steer Entebbe toward greater growth and prosperity.
